The reasons...

We all know someone that has been affected by both Domestic Violence and Breast Cancer. While most people only acknowledge these issues during October, there are people who are fighting for their lives everyday.

Although never a victim of DM my passion to learn more and to assist arose after helping a previous neighbor leave her abusive husband. I began to volunteer at Safe Havens and shelters. The feeling of being able to help change someone's life is an rewarding feeling.

Just last year alone three people that I loved were diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Watching what they went through made us all stronger. It is true, that when someone in the family has cancer so does the entire family.

I made a vow that I would help others in anyway I can. I began making care packages for those going through chemotherapy. This is just the begining. I know that I can't change the world, but I promise that I will make myself heard as I bring awareness. Thank you for taking the time to visit this site. Please pass it along.

Best Regards,

What Hopeful Ribbons is...

At the moment it's a grass root organization. I am currently in the paperwork process of becoming a Not-for-Profit organization. Mission Statement: To reach out my arms and open my heart to embrace, and provide supportive services to anyone that has been affected by domestic violence or breast cancer. I will also raise awareness & support for other non profit organizations that provide support, resources and advocacy for victims/survivors of domestic abuse and breast cancer.
